SNAD01 / SNAD02 is a low cost serial ADC with 8 individual input channels. Each channel can be independently programmed to an analog or digital input mode. Under analog input mode, the single-ended channel accepts an analog input signal from 0 to Vref and converts the signal into a 12-bit digital code (with 8-bit / 10-bit accuracy guaranteed). Under digital input mode, the channel can be treated as a digital input port which the logic level appears at the channel can be acquired. SNAD01 / SNAD02 has a synchronous 3-wire serial interface in which the host CPU can control the ADC easily.
